Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Negombo
Meet and greet at the airport and transfer to your beach hotel to rest.
Day 2: Negombo to Sigiriya
Drive north, stopping at the Dambulla cave temples before checking in near Sigiriya.
Day 3: Sigiriya and village life
Climb Sigiriya Rock early, then explore a village by bullock cart over lunch.
Day 4: Polonnaruwa to Kandy
Cycle through the ruins of Polonnaruwa, then drive to Kandy for the evening.
Day 5: Kandy
Visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, the botanical gardens and a Kandyan dance show.
Day 6: Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Winding drive through tea country with a stop at a working tea factory.
Day 7: Nuwara Eliya to Ella by train
Ride the famous scenic railway through waterfalls and tea estates.
Day 8: Ella to Yala
Morning at Nine Arches Bridge, then a jeep safari at Yala in the afternoon.
Day 9: Yala to Galle
Early game drive, then travel to the south coast and a sunset walk on the Galle Fort ramparts.
Day 10: Departure
Transfer to the airport with plenty of time for your flight.
